Typing each one of these bullet points out took me back to numerous painful times over the past 10+ years. Countless nights at a computer at 2:00 am, in tears, because I was so overwhelmed - just drowning in work. Scared to let a client down or drop the ball. Terrified at ruining my reputation or my team quitting on me - feeling like it was all on my shoulders and I could lose it all in the blink of an eye.
Finally, I made the conscious decision to seek help. Find a mentor. Get in the room with other business owners who, some of them, had been doing agency life longer than I've been alive.
I invested thousands of dollars (which was terrifying at the time) to get the guidance I needed to structure my team, get our processes in place and take radical ownership as a leader.
My only regret? That I didn't do it sooner. It changed my life and the entire business. Why did I wait so long? Why did I try to figure this all out alone?
